Introduction to Stress Management Workshops are Changing

We have been running these workshops for the past year to introduce the HSE management competencies to reduce and prevent stress at work.

These practical half-day workshops introduce the management competencies that are required for preventing and reducing stress at work and provide hands on training in practical skills to address some of these areas.

Over the past year we have presented these workshops to over 70 HR and Health & Safety Managers. The workshops have always been well received and people have gone away with new skills to apply back in the workplace.

To date the focus has been on how to identify stress in yourself and others and skills to reduce stress.  From September we will be changing the topic to ‘Improving Communication Skills to Reduce Stress at Work.’ It follows the theme of managing and reducing stress, and picks up on a different management competency to reduce and prevent stress at work.

The workshops are fun and interactive.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the session you will:

  • Have an understanding of different communication styles, what your natural style is and the affect it has on others
  • Understand how to build rapport
  • Develop greater listening skills
  • Feel confident starting difficult conversations
  • Learn skills to remain calm

Tickets cost £35 and all the money raised goes directly to Headway’s ‘Mind Your Head’ campaign. To book your tickets visit Eventbrite now.
